Noah's Ark Zoo Farm

Welcome back to you all after the Half Term Holiday. We had a very busy first week back with a fabulous trip on Tuesday to Noah's Ark Zoo farm near Bristol. The children thoroughly enjoyed wandering around the farm and managed to pack in a tractor ride, lamb feeding, visits to the play areas not to mention seeing lots of different animals into their day. Unfortunately my camera decided not to work after a couple of shots, so a huge thank you to Mr Sherratt whose camera was working! Here are a few pictures from the day.

We have also been learning about capacity this week and the children had lots of fun comparing the capacity of different conatiners.

We managed to squeeze a couple of mini beast hunts in as well this week. The children had a look around the school to find different mini beasts. We used our bug viewers to get a better look!

Just a quick reminder that on Tuesday next week we have our Class photos and on Wednesday we will be laying our Coin Trail in the morning. So if you have any loose change please send it in with the children by Wednesday. Finally, with Sports Day fast approaching we will be taking advantage of any dry weather next week to practice our races so please remind your child to bring their PE kit including trainers into school each day next week (or leave it in school for the week if possible).

See you on Monday.
