RE week

Firstly I have to say a really big well done to everyone for our Eisteddfod on Friday. I was really proud of how all our Year 1s and 2s performed , both individually and in groups. They remembered all their words and they remembered to smile when they were up on the stage. Bendigedig!

As part of our 'Weather' topic we will be spending the next couple of weeks learning all about India. This week as part of our RE week, we are finding out lots of information about Hinduism and on Thursday we will be holding our very own Hindu wedding. We have a really packed week with lots of lovely activities for the children to do. Here are a few  pictures to show you what they have been up to so far.

A very special visitor came today to teach the children about Indian dance.

They all had a good go at some Indian dance moves.

Then they designed a coat for an Indian elephant. Their completed designs will be up on the classroom window soon.

It was a beautiful day so some of the children went outside and drew some Rangoli patterns on the yard. They were really colourful!

Keep checking the blog this week for more pictures of our RE week activities.

See you all tomorrow.
