Macmillan Sponsored Walk

I would just like to say a huge thank you to all of you for your generous donations to our Macmillan event.  Mrs Jones and I were overwhelmed by your support.  Please look out for photographs of the children completing their walk.  We will let you know how much we have raised as soon as all the money has been collected in.

I can't believe we are about to begin our 4th week of term already. The children have all settled well into their new class and are beginning to find out where everything is in their new classroom and Area.

Lots of them brought in some lovely items for our blue table last week. As it is the first week and a few items weren't bought in until later in the week we will keep this going for another week. The colour for the following week (week beginning Monday 30th) will be green.

We still need lots of coloured things for our Rainbow Shop which we are setting up. If you have anything bright and non breakable that we can borrow please send it in.

Just a reminder that the children do need to have wellies in school for outside activities.

See you all on Monday.

Welcome back...

Welcome back everybody. I'm glad that Santa visited you all! You must have been very good during the year to have received such wonderful presents!!

We've had a busy week...straight into our new topic 'Let's Explore'. To start off our topic we are exploring the weather. A weather station role play has been set up in the class room. Thank you to everybody for their contributions in class and to those who have made things at home and already brought them in.

We are also looking at toys...what are they made of? How do they work? To start us on the topic we have discussed our favourtie toys. It was a hard decision to make as so many wonderful toys were received for Christmas. We will be moving onto toys that parents and grandparents used...so mums, dads, grandmas and grandads get thinking!!
