St Fagans

Just  a few pictures to show you what we got up to in St Fagans on Monday. The children certainly learnt lots from their lesson in Maestir School and have come back full of ideas for our old school room role play.

They listened very carefully to their lesson!

They used slate boards and pencils to write sums.

Luke modelled the Welsh Not for us. He even managed to put on a really sad face for the camera!

Out in the yard they had a go with some traditional toys. Ffion was very good at the cup and ball.

A huge 'Diolch yn fawr' to Mrs Hewison, Mrs Hargreaves and Mrs Taylor for coming on the trip with us.

Welcome to Class 9!

Dear all,
It was so lovely to see so many smiling faces in our first week back. What a fabulous start to the year! The children all settled into their new class and their new shared Area really well. However if you have any concerns at all please pop in and see me after school, or if you can't make it to school I can always be contacted through the office or just write me a note.

Our Autumn Term topic web will be going home with the children on Monday - please check their bags for it if they don't give it to you!

Reading books will be going home this week and PE day is Tuesday. Please can we have wellies in school by Friday at the latest as it is our turn for Forest Schools next week (week beginning Monday 19th)

Looking forward to a busy and exciting first term.

See you Monday.

Mrs Utting-Lawson and Miss Brush.
